Trueplay

Hi everyone. Since I updated my app….Trueplay decided it doesn’t wanna work anymore. I’ve tried everything I can think of. Has anymore else ran into this issue ?😅 currently on a 55 minute hold with customer service. But i figured I’d still ask the question

How do I fix “Sonos needs local network access for setup. In iOS settings, tap Local Network, then return to the Sonos app.”I open the settings and local network is already ticked, I have turned it off and on again I have deleted the app and nothing seems to work

Trying to set up a new Symfonisk to an existing network, and it won't finalize the connection. Any ideas or suggestions?

Just got a new Symfonisk and trying to connect it to my system. Currently have a Playbar + Sub set up in a TV room and a Five in the the living room. Have been going through the new app to set up the Symfonisk and have tried almost everything. Have had it do the chimes, though won’t finalize. Have typed the device number after that, which always fails. Have connected to the router via Ethernet directly, using a new connection and even using the ethernet cable I have set up with the Playbar. All fails. I’m ready to smash this thing out of frustration and the small satisfaction I may get. This is truly horrible, and Sonos Support gives me a bot that only repeats itself with no actual solutions/suggestions and a phone number that has an 80minute wait. Really hoping someone has a suggestion or maybe has gone through similar and had success.

IKEA SYMFONISK will connect

I spent half of my day after purchasing the IKEA SYMFONISK gen 2 speakers failing at setup. I reset the speakers, router, phone, and unplugged each device numerous times. The devices appear and begin the setup process through wi-fi but eventually fail to connect. The router is 5 feet away from my sonos speakers.Not even a direct ethernet wire would work for me. I have not found a useful tip or video that troubleshoots this nightmare process.

New app Sucks!!

This new app is one of the worst apps I have ever used! I have been a high end integrator for 30 years! I love Sonos but will now have to find a new music system to sell if they don’t fix this!

Is there anyone out there with any legal knowledge?The new app has taken away my ability to play my music from my music library (error 913). I am also unable to add music to a playlist or edit the queue. so I am left with a glorified radio!As this makes my Sonos speakers no longer fit for purpose, can I claim compensation or a refund?Mal

How to play “artist radio”

I’m using Tidal, but when I click on artist radio, Sonos only lets me play one song at a time. Obviously, I’m hoping to play a Radio of similar artists. It seems to have the same problem when I try Spotify. Any hints as to what I’m doing wrong.

ALARM RADIO WITH NEW APP

Hello, With the new App i have mulptiple alarms for each day of the week. The problem, now is we cannot see the station with each alarm right away. It is only indicated: LIVE STATION instead of the name or the station’s logo. Can you do something, we should see it as first view and step.What is going on with this problem ??

How do I get my system to function again?!?!?

It simply DOES NOT WORK!Some users complain about the missing features in your new en heavily promoted app. I would settle if I could just get my Sonos to work again!!! Since your new app from hell arrived, I havent been able to connect to my system. I have different generations and it all worked sort of well before, but now the Sonos S1 app kicks me on to your new app with a message that states "all my units are compatible but some may need an update". But your sh**** new app just keeps on crashing and is hard-wired to search for end prompt to endless updates that always ends with a "system 1000 error" on and on and on...and I have no freaking way to turn the non-functioning updates of or just return to Sonos S1!???!??Its so god damn' unbelievable how flawed this is. But here goes. Have anyone figured out a work-around??? Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

Sonos Setup Not Working

Here‘s what happening:I choose setup new speaker I choose the Roam SL It says „There was a problem setting your Sonos Roam SL…Let‘s try something else“ Click Continue To continue, let‘s connect your movable device to the temporary network… I click Join Next your Sonos will play a chime… I click continue It plays a sound Says finalizing connection… “We‘re having trouble finalizing the connection to your Sonos Roam SL I click Try Again it fails again „We couldn‘t verify the audio passcode“6 I try then the PIN number This also fails „There was a problem during setup“ I‘ve tried restarting my device, I‘ve tried on both my iPad and my iPhone. Is this speaker just broken? What else can I try?
